DXOMARK: Huawei Mate 40 Pro is the best smartphone to take selfies

Every year DXOMARK tests the picture and video quality of the front camera in a large number of devices from different brands. According to the latest DXOMARK report on the front camera discloses that Huawei Mate 40 Pro is the best smartphone for selfie photos and videos with 108 and 96 points respectively.

Nowadays the selfie camera quality is very much important for users who are active on social media, bloggers, travelers, and selfie lovers. The Huawei Mate 40 Pro front camera brings a 13MP 1/2.8-inch sensor coupled to a fixed-focus lens and a time-of-flight sensor that helps with depth-sensing in bokeh mode.

The report suggests that Huawei Mate 40 Pro front camera’s overall performance is very good in all scenarios. The Mate 40 Pro’s front camera allows you to capture detailed pictures even in dim light, and when multiple people detect in a single frame the camera automatically switches to ultra-wide-angle mode.

Additionally, Huawei Mate 40 Pro selfie video achieves the best results at 4K resolution and offers good video detailing in all scenarios. The camera’s video stabilization works very effectively and gives you an almost cinematic effect.

Moreover, the second position secured by Huawei P40 followed by Nova 6 5G, Asus Zenfone 7 Pro, Samsung S20 Ultra 5G, and Note 20 Ultra 5G also offers good selfie picture quality.

On December 21, According to DXOMARK China, Huawei Mate 40 Pro secured top position in the best smartphone camera of 2020 with 136 points and 104 points in the rear and selfie camera category respectively.
