Latest update for Huawei P Smart 2019 upgrades system security and possible multi-tasking issue fix
A new software update is rolling out for Huawei P Smart 2019 smartphone users. This update comes with the security patch released in October 2020, which fixes 3 critical and 15 high levels of CVE’s for a better security experience.
Currently, P Smart 2019 is working on EMUI 10 and users are still waiting for EMUI 10.1 upgrades. But, this device is not eligible for EMUI 10.1 major update, which is really a big disappointment for P Smart 2019 users.
Moreover, Huawei is still sending monthly security updates for P Smart 2019 users for security improvements and increases the overall device performance. Some P Smart 2019 users are also facing multi-window issue on their devices and it’s possible that it has been fixed with this update.

UPDATE INSTRUCTIONS:
Download via Settings:
- Open Settings
- Click on the System & updates
- Open Software update
- Tap on Check for updates option
- If an update is available, click on Download and install
- After installation Reboot the device
Download via Support app:
- Open the Support app on your device
- Go to the Service tab
- Click on the update button
- Tap on Check for update option
- If an update is available, click on Download and install
- After installation Reboot the device
REMEMBER:
- Currently, this update is rolling out in Europe.
- The update is rolling out in batches so it may take some time/days to reach your device.
- The update will not erase any data.
