Huawei is yet to confirm the launch date of the Huawei Mate 40 series but now we have got to see an unofficial confirmation of when this upcoming flagship lineup will actually be launched.
According to an image coming from tipster Evan Blass, the Huawei Mate 40 series will launch on October 22 at 14:00 CEST. A promo image shows, Huawei Mate 40 series slogan “Leap Further Ahead” and a circular dome that again signals the circular camera design and possibly about the new camera zoom.
To be noted, Huawei never used the Periscope camera in the Mate-series devices and only installed it in the P series. However, the company is finally ready to debut this long-zoom lens in the Mate lineup.
Previous report suggests that the Huawei Mate 40 series will initially go on sale in China by the end of October, while there are still doubts about its global sale. On the other hand, reports also hints that the global sale of Mate 40 may not start until the beginning of 2021.
A well known Weibo tipster, DigitalKing said Huawei will start to officially promote the Huawei Mate 40 series by October 12, followed by the invitations to media persons.
Compared to last year, Huawei Mate 40 series likely to in four variants including an RS Porsche Design and the new “Pro+” model. These phones will be packed with new camera capabilities and the company’s latest 5nm Kirin 9000 processor.
The certificate confirms that the Huawei Mate 40 Pro will have 66W superfast charging support and its software will run on EMUI 11. All of the models of the Huawei Mate 40 series may feature curved edge display panels. However, the Mate 40 Pro+ may come with an ultra-curved waterfall display.
There’s a lot more information that is yet to surface about the upcoming Huawei Mate 40 series and we can’t wait to explore it.
