Honor 8X and Honor 9n getting August EMUI security update

Honor has released a new EMUI software update for the Honor 8X and Honor 9n, which installs the latest security patches released in August 2020 for better system security.

In the past few months, the Honor 8X received important features including the Huawei Assistant, fixes calls, and camera improvements. These features are said to improve overalls user experience. Following the Honor 8X, Honor 9n also got these features last month with Smart Charge and Smart Battery Capacity features.

August 2020 Security Patch Details:

August 2020 security update install security patches fixes different levels of exploits and issues within Huawei phones including 2 critical and 21 high levels of CVEs.

VERSION:

Honor 8X receiving August 2020 security update with EMUI 10 version 10.0.0.223 and update package size of 102MB. On the other hand, Honor 9n’s latest security comes with EMUI 9.1 version 9.1.0.153. These updates are currently under expansion.
