Honor 8X is receiving a new update, which improves system security level with Android patches released in May 2020. There’re no additional changes mentioned in the changelog.

Last month, Honor installed a new update on Honor 8X with Huawei Assistant and April 2020 security update.

MAY 2020 SECURITY DETAILS:

The May 2020 security update brings Android patches from Huawei and Google, fixing different levels of exploits and issues within Huawei phones including 2 critical and 22 high and 2 Medium levels of CVEs.

VERSION:

The May 2020 Security update for Honor 8X comes with EMUI version 10.0.0.198 and an update package size of 99.73MB.
