Honor 20i receiving April EMUI security update

Last month, Honor 20i in India received a system upgrade including the VoWiFi feature, which enables the users to access voice calls over a Wi-Fi network.

The update (previous) also installed February 2020 security patch and now Honor 20i receiving new security enhancements released this month.

Honor 20i is receiving a new software update that brings April 2020 security improvements including fixes for 5 critical, 12 high and 1 medium level of Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE).

Note: The update is rolling out in batches, so it may take some time/days to reach your device.

Honor 20i EMUI VERSION:

The April 2020 Security update for Honor 20i comes with EMUI version 10.0.0.181 and a size of 94.28MB. This update is confirmed to roll out in an Indian model and also rolling for other models.

Note: EMUI version and size may vary depending on the country/region

CHECK FOR THE UPDATE:

Open Support app
Click on ‘Services’ tab
Click on ‘Update’
Click on ‘CHECK FOR UPDATES’
Click on ‘Download and install’

Via Settings:

Open Settings
Click on ‘System & updates’
Click on ‘Software update’
Click on ‘CHECK FOR UPDATES’
Click on ‘Download and install’
