Huawei P40 lite receiving April EMUI security update

Huawei has just released the details of April 2020 EMUI security and the recently unveiled Huawei P40 lite is the first recipient of this latest security improvement.

According to the information, Huawei P40 lite now receiving the April 2020 EMUI security including Google security patches and fixes 5 critical, 12 high and 1 medium level of Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE).

Note: The update is rolling out in batches, so it may take some time to reach the device.

Huawei P40 Lite EMUI VERSIONS:

The April 2020 security update for Huawei P40 Lite comes with EMUI version 10.0.1.165.

HOW TO UPDATE Huawei P40 lite:

Open Settings
Click on ‘System & updates’
Click on ‘Software update’
Click on ‘CHECK FOR UPDATES’
Click on ‘Download and install’

Huawei P40 Lite is a device that was launched ahead of the P40, P40 Pro and P40 Pro+. And comes with powerful specs including a punch-hole display, Kirin 810 processor, 48MP quad camera and EMUI 10.
