Honor V30 series 5G receiving February security update with Knuckle gesture feature
In February, Honor introduced its first 5G smartphone – Honor View30 Pro in the global market, offering new display, improved design, and more camera techs.
On the other hand, this device in China comes in a pair of two – Honor V30 and V30 Pro 5G and already purchased by many consumers.
Now, Honor V30 and V30 Pro are receiving a new Magic UI update that brings February 2020 security enhancements along with new knuckle gestures feature.
The February 2020 update improves system security with Google security patches and fixes to 2 critical and 20 high levels of Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE).
One of the critical CVE-2020-0022 AKA BlueFrag was also fixed in this update, which allows silent code execution on the device that leads to data theft and spreading malware.
The knuckle gestures will allow the users to perform different tasks with a double-tap, slide or drawing a shape on the display for screen recording, screenshot, scrollshot, split-screen, and more.
