Huawei P20 and P20 Pro starts receiving March EMUI security, EMUI 10 coming soon
A few days ago, Huawei pushed the February security patch for Huawei P20 and P20 Pro in China. These Chinese models are already upgraded on EMUI 10 but global users have to wait a few more weeks to get the latest update.
And now, Huawei P20 and P20 Pro global users started receiving a new software package that brings a new security patch of March, improving system performance. (via RPRNA)
The March security optimizations for Huawei P20 and P20 Pro includes Google security patches and fixes for 2 critical and 20 high levels of Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE).
Note: The update is rolling out in batches so it may take some time/days to reach your device/country.

HUAWEI P20 and P20 Pro EMUI VERSIONS:
Huawei P20 and P20 Pro receiving the March 2020 security update with EMUI version 9.1.0.387 and 228MB of the software package. In some countries, it comes with EMUI 9.1.0.388.
Note: EMUI version and size may vary depending on the region/country.
EMUI 10:
EMUI 10 for Huawei P20 and P20 Pro will start in April and expand onwards in different countries.
CHECK FOR THE UPDATE VIA HICARE/SUPPORT:
Via Settings:
- Open Settings
- Click on ‘System’
- Click on ‘Software update’
- Click on ‘CHECK FOR UPDATES’
- Click on ‘Download and install’
Via HiCare/Support:
- Open HiCare/Support app
- Click on ‘Services’ tab
- Click on ‘Update’
- Click on ‘CHECK FOR UPDATES’
- Click on ‘Download and install’
