Will Huawei P40 series launch be delayed due to Coronavirus outbreak?
Earlier this week, Huawei announced its launch conference to take place at Mobile World Congress 2020, which is now canceled due to take the precautionary measurement for the Coronavirus outbreak.
At the launch event, Huawei was expected to launch its new Huawei Mate X foldable phone to the global audience along with a showcase of its new smart wearables, IoT products, and new product strategy.
Huawei says it’ll look forward to communicating with customers and partners through online and regional events to show the latest products and solutions.
This brings us to the next big flagship launch of – Huawei P40 series that, according to the previous report, will launch on March 26. Since MWC is canceled, Huawei could also launch the Mate X and other products at this event.
From past events, Huawei launches its P series and Mate series flagships outside of the Chinese territory.
And due to the ongoing Coronavirus infection, most of the countries are placing travel restrictions “to or from” China and also prompting advisories to the travelers about the virus outbreak.
If this situation persists, Huawei may eventually delay the launch of Huawei P40 series or it’ll be launched from China and broadcasted online to all.
However, we don’t have any official confirmation on this subject but as we move towards the launch, there will be more chapters that start to unfold.
