Huawei Pura 80 series tipped to offer new color variants over Pura 70

Huawei Pura 80 series could bring major upgrades over its predecessors and one of these changes will likely be color variants. A new input implies that the next-gen flagship lineup will bring different color schemes over the Pura 70 smartphones.

Weibo tipster @BeijingDigitalMaster said that the Huawei Pura 80 series will bring new color variants over its predecessors. The leak didn’t reveal the color options of the Pura 80 handsets. Yet it says that the new color scheme is quite special this time.

The Chinese OEM introduced the Pura 70 series in April this year. It has given a new makeover to the traditional P lineup with new Pura handsets. These phones come with a unique triangular lens module and eye-catching color variants:

• Standard Pura 70: Rose Red, Crystal Blue, White, Black
• Pura 70 Pro: Roland Purple, Snow White, Feather Black
• Pura 70 Pro+: Silver, White, Phantom Black
• Pura 70 Ultra: Green, Mocha Brown, White, Black

Every Pura 70 model has unique colors including the classic black and white shades. Perhaps the company may use the same strategy for the Pura 80 series as well.

Huawei Pura 80 series is expected to launch in the second quarter of 2025. By that time, we may find some more interesting changes and revelations about its colors.

Some inputs revealed that the Pura 80 series will bring a brand-new camera framework on its back. The company has started testing the latest OmniVision customized camera sensors for its next flagship and integrated new imaging features.

On the other hand, the new smartphone lineup could bring a giant 6000mAh battery this time. This would be a major upgrade as the previous generation features a cell below 5500mAh capacity. A higher-density cell ensures a better lifespan of the device.
