Huawei Watch Fit 3 gets first HarmonyOS NEXT beta update

Huawei Watch Fit 3 is receiving its first HarmonyOS NEXT beta firmware. After the Mate 70 series launch, the OEM began testing its new software system for other devices including smartwatches. Let’s check what the update brings on board.

The company started the HarmonyOS NEXT closed beta program for the Watch Fit 3 wearable on December 04. Huawei is calling out 3000 users to participate in this software testing pool and experience impressive features in advance.

As per the official details, the OEM has now released the first HarmonyOS NEXT closed beta update for Watch Fit 3. Registered users will be the first to grab the new firmware. Meanwhile, the company will gradually push it to more beta testers.

Huawei is releasing the first HarmonyOS NEXT update for Watch Fit 3 with a set of new features. The company has added a screenshot feature that will let you capture the watch’s screen and save it on your phone’s gallery easily.

Next is the WeChat watch version that will enable users to view and reply the WeChat messages from the watch itself, without opening the smartphone.

How to sign-up?

If your Huawei phone/tablet paired with Watch Fit 3 hasn’t upgraded to the latest HarmonyOS NEXT version, then you can follow the steps given below:

• Open the My Huawei App on your phone/tablet
• Go to Home
• Tap on Upgrade and Try Out
• Follow the on-screen prompts to register for the beta
