Honor 300 series launched with 50MP camera, 5300mAh battery, and more

On December 02, 2024, Honor launched the Honor 300 digital series with a range of exciting features and high-end specifications. It comes with three ultimate models that are full of fascinating capabilities. Let’s learn about these handsets one by one.

Specifications: Design

Honor 300 series launched with three variants: Standard, Pro, and Ultra. The Standard model comes in five colors Purple, Snow White, Grey, Tea Green, and Black.

The Pro model is available in three shades including Starlight Sand, Ink Rock Black, and Tea Green. Whereas, the Ultra version has two colors: Camellia White and Ink Rock Black. All three devices slightly differ from each other.

Standard Honor 300 exhibits a rococo pattern on the back for three new shades while the Gray and Black has a plain matte finish. Similarly, the Pro variant has an impartial division of plain and rococo style while the black shade shows matte texture.

Ultra model’s back panel is engraved with streamlined and geometric forms to offer a smooth yet aesthetic feel on your hands. It provides a comfortable grip to users.

Dimension and Display

The Standard Honor 300 measures 161 x 74.2 x 6.97mm and weighs 175 grams. Honor 300 Pro has a dimension of 163.8 x 75.3 x 8.2mm and weighs 199 grams.

Speaking of the Honor 300 Ultra, it measures the same as the Pro variant but differs in weight. The plain leather version has 198 grams weight while the glass version has 199 grams. Although it feels lightweight on hands even when holding it for hours.

Honor 300 equips a display of 6.7-inch while its siblings have 6.78-inch AMOLED screens. The standard variant has a display resolution of 2664 x 1200 pixels whereas, the other versions have 2700 x 1224 pixels resolution.

These screens further support 3840Hz PWM zero-risk dimming, true 1.07 billion colors, DCI-P3 wide color gamut, peak brightness of 4000 nits, 120 Hz refresh rate, 437PPI, and multi-touch 10 points. It also comes with AI anti-mistouch, HDR Vivid, wet hand touch, ZREAL, and Professional color calibration properties.

Chipset

Honor 300 equips an octa-core Snapdragon 7 Gen chip with Adreno 720 GPU. Meanwhile, the high-end variants install a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip with Adreno 750 graphics processing unit. All three models pre-installed MagicOS 9.0 (Android 15).

Camera

The standard Honor 300 model has a dual-camera system at the back with a 50MP main camera (f/1.95 aperture, OIS) and a 12MP ultrawide-angle macro lens (f/2.2) with autofocus. It supports 20x digital zoom and a 50MP selfie sensor on the front.

Honor 300 Pro and Ultra features a triple-cam setup on the rear side with a 50MP primary shooter, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera, and a 12MP ultrawide-angle snapper. It supports 50x digital zoom and an SLR-level 50MP front selfie lens.

All three models bring 2D face recognition support on board. They also have a YaGu portrait art style and an AI light control engine that lets you manage light and shadow even in local photography scenarios. The SLR-level selfie lens ensures perfect smooth and progressive blur, making your portraits more realistic.

Battery and Charging

Honor 300 series smartphones support a 5300mAh battery and 100W super-fast wired charging as well as 80W wireless superfast charging.

They come with an IP65 rating, support WLAN 2.4GHz, 5GHz, Bluetooth 5.3, Beidou B1l + B1C, and multiple sensors like gravity, infrared, fingerprint, gyro, compass, ambient light, proximity, and acceleration.
