Huawei Chairman reveals a new sapphire + gold Ultimate smartwatch

It’s November 26 and Huawei is ready to unveil dynamic products. Ahead of today’s launch event, the company’s chairman has revealed a brand-new Huawei sapphire + gold Ultimate smartwatch. The device will likely debut at the Mate 70 release stage.

Yu Chengdong – the Chairman of Huawei Consumer Business shared a new video on a Chinese social media platform and showcased the first sapphire + gold Ultimate smartwatch. The wearable flaunts a luxurious and super bold appearance.

The video clip shows Yu Chengdong wearing the new smartwatch around his wrist. While the complete look is still under wraps, it highlights a golden appearance. The double crown style hints that the device could be the new-gen Watch Ultimate.

Speaking of the design, the new watch has a sapphire glass housed with a giant golden dial. It seemingly has a metallic casing at the bottom with two golden crowns on the sides. The dial sports a blue design, giving a classic yet premium feel.

The straps follow the same look as the previous-gen Watch Ultimate Design model. It shows silver brackets on the sides with gold-colored plates in the middle.

In the video footage, the official says it’s a new milestone in the smartwatch industry. He further adds that the iconic wearable can be consumers’ best car key.

The best car key feature implies that the new watch will bring upgraded connectivity for smart cars, such as AITO M9 and STELATO S9. It can also support exclusive car-control capabilities like remote air conditioning, door unlocking, and more.

Yu adds that the company has used the latest craftsmanship and technology to design the new wrist gadget. Perhaps we may discover more interesting features of this mysterious Ultimate smartwatch at the Huawei Mate 70 series launch event.
