After the Magic 7 series launch, Honor is waiting for the Huawei Mate 70 unveiling. One of the senior executives of the company recently said that he would love to see a battle between the two power-pack smartphone lineups in the upcoming days.

Zhao Ming – the CEO of Honor Devices recently attended a live stream. He answered many questions regarding the Magic 7 series, industry growth, and pricing strategy.

During the interview, the host asked how well the Honor Magic 7 would compete with the “strongest” Huawei Mate 70. In response, the CEO gave an interesting answer:

“As a newborn calf, Honor Magic 7 is very much looking forward to a head-on ‘collision’ with Mate 70, and believes that it will be a fierce and positive confrontation.”

Honor is expecting positive and fair competition between the two high-fy handsets. Earlier, the executive mentioned that Mate 70 will come in the Chinese smartphone market as the strongest competitor of all the brands.

Although the new statement highlights that both devices will lead to a new level of competition in the market. The CEO adds that the battle between the two flagship phones (Magic 7 vs Mate 70) will likely become a new focus point in the smartphone industry. It may bring more choices and surprises to consumers.

Zhao further stated that the company is taking new steps in the AI field. For instance, the smart AI defocus screen solutions, durable battery life, as well as the imaging system runs on AI, aiming to improve the overall experience for users.

Tech Progress

Honor executive mentioned that he sees the Magic 7 and Mate 70 collision not as a competition between brands but as an opportunity to promote tech progress.

Huawei Mate 70 series will debut this month. It will likely bring a new chip, satellite features, smarter AI capabilities, and several other tech-pack tools for consumers.

These components expected to belong to the native suppliers, promoting the country’s growth. The exact launch time is still missing from the frames. Yet, users can expect the flagship smartphone lineup to release around November 20.
