Huawei may launch FreeBuds Pro 4 in China this month and ahead of that, the device has surfaced on the SDPPI database. It seems the company will soon unveil the new earbuds in the global market after releasing them for home-ground consumers.
SDPPI certificate is an approval to sell electronics and other products in the Indonesian market. It is required for both local and imported items to enter Indonesia.
As per the details, the Huawei FreeBuds Pro 4 has appeared on the SDPPI database. It has received the approval certificate and bears the model number T0022.
The device falls under the ‘Bluetooth Earphone’ category. While the listing doesn’t reveal any major details or key specs of the device, it hints that the company will soon launch the respective earbuds in the global markets, starting from Indonesia.
Early inputs suggested that the FreeBuds Pro 4 will bring major upgrades over the previous-gen models. It is because the earphones will run on the HarmonyOS NEXT. Consumers will find some new AI capabilities that will enhance the sound experience.
FreeBuds Pro 4 may also offer improved ANC (Active Noise Cancelation) support to users. This time, the company is reportedly working on better battery backup with the earbuds. The overall audio performance would be more immersive than before.
A smart Celia voice wake-up feature may also accompany the FreeBud Pro 4. Users will eventually be able to check the battery status of the device without unlocking their smartphone.
The FreeBuds Pro 4 will initially debut in China. According to the leaks, it may launch alongside the Mate 70 smartphones this month. The exact time is unclear but we may soon get more details about these earphones.
