Huawei Mate 60 Pro+ will likely get a new 256GB storage variant. The top-end model has only two storage options: 512GB and 1TB. But it looks like the Chinese tech giant will soon add a new choice in this section to meet consumers’ requirements.
Weibo tipster @UncleKanshan notes that Huawei Mate 60 Pro+ will soon get the 16GB + 256GB storage variant. Inputs reveal that the device already has this version. Mate 60 Pro+ 16GB + 256GB variant is available on the online JD.com stores.
However, it is absent from the official or other online shopping channels. The OEM may soon release an official statement on this matter. The leak also hints that the new smartphone storage option would launch in the offline consumer market in future.
The information notes that the Mate 60 Pro+ 256GB storage variant costs 6799 yuan ($960.65). It is less than the 512GB version (7299 yuan) and is expected to focus on offline sales rather than being only available at online shopping channels.
Apart from the storage space, the rest of the parameters will be the same as other Mate 60 Pro+ siblings. Let’s wait for the official announcement on this subject.

The device has a dimension of 163.65 x 70 x 8.1mm and weighs 225 grams. It has a premium design that exhibits a luxurious feel. The device equips a 6.82-inch OLED screen with FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, 1.07 billion colors, a P3 wide color gamut, a 1440Hz frequency PWM dimming, and a 300Hz touch sampling rate.
Huawei has imposed three punch holes on the top of the device for a 13MP selfie camera and a 3D depth camera with a facial recognition system for unlocking.
For internal configurations, the phone powers up with a Kirin 9000s chip. It has a 5000mAh non-removable battery with 88W wired charging, 50W wireless, and 20W wireless reverse charging. The camera part is also quite fascinating.
Huawei Mate 60 Pro+ features a triple-lens arrangement on the back with a 48MP main camera, a 40MP ultra wide-angle shooter, and a 48MP super macro periscope telephoto sensor with 3.5x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom.
