iPhone 16 Pro Max ranks fourth on DXOMARK, Huawei Pura 70 Ultra still on top

Apple’s latest creation – the iPhone 16 Pro Max device ranked fourth in the DXOMARK ranking. The new smartphone is full of advanced features and camera capabilities. Yet, it still cannot compete with the Huawei Pura 70 Ultra’s top-of-the-line camera.

DXOMARK reveals that the iPhone 16 Pro Max achieved the fourth spot in the camera ranking. The device sits below Pura 70 Ultra, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and Magic 6 Pro in this global listing. It has top scores in the preview and video recording categories.

iPhone 16 Pro Max has a triple-camera system including a 48MP main lens, a 48MP ultrawide-angle shooter, and a 12MP periscope sensor with 5x zoom capability. The rear optical framework supports dual-pixel PDAF and sensor-shift OIS functions.

The ranking shows that the iPhone 16 Pro Max camera scored 157 points in terms of overall performance. Scores regarding the photo quality, bokeh, and more are:
