Huawei Watch GT 5 Series launched with sharp-edged design, TruSense and more

Huawei has launched the Watch GT 5 series smartwatches for global consumers with a new TruSense system for improved health features, a new design, and plenty of interesting features.

The series consists of GT 5 and GT 5 Pro in 41mm and 46mm sizes. Let’s start with Huawei GT 5

The 46mm version of this watch has a sharp-angled bezel made with a matching watch crown. On the other hand, the 41mm version has intricate leaf patterns on both the bezel and crown.

These two separate the appearance from each other and provide a distinct look.

The watch has hard coatings on the body and screen and a uniform nano-film water-proof finish for scratch, water, and corrosion resistance.

You can remove the strap and replace it with a new one with a different design. The 41mm versions are light and come in very handy.

Pro – Ceramic and Titanium

Huawei Watch GT 5 Pro, on the other hand, has uniqueness. The black version has an eight-sided titanium alloy bezel and its crown has a red ring. The white version has a nanocrystal ceramic body and textured snow-white fluoroelastomer strap.

The Watch GT 5 Pro model brings water resistance up to 40 meters so you can dive deep with safety reminders and other capabilities.

Health and Fitness

Both watches offer new watch faces to suit different styles including sports and fashion.

It equips wrist-based navigation and real-time routes with a map to support your daily running routine.

This feature is supported by the Sunflower positioning system, developed by Huawei with algorithms that track the satellite signal to pinpoint positioning during outdoor workouts.

Meanwhile, the running analysis monitors high-level data such as ground contact time balance and vertical oscillation.

Watch GT 5 and GT 5 Pro have different health activities and more than 100 workout modes. You can also keep up with your exercise goals using Activity Rings 2.0.

Emotional wellbeing

The new TruSense system enables these two wearables to give you insights into mental health with the new Emotional wellbeing app. It uses TruSense data to tell you more about your emotional expression through a panda.

The app will take stressful emotional data to suggest you breathe exercises to control it.

Health Tracking and Features

These smartwatches will let you track sleep, cycle tracking, and new pulse wave arrhythmia analysis. With these two watches, you will get a free 3-month membership to Huawei Health+ with exclusive benefits.

Huawei Watch GT 5 series launched with an improved and optimized interface with color-coded apps, better cars, and new animations.

You can type on the watch with the Celia keyboard from the watch and make calls over Bluetooth.

Battery

Huawei Watch GT 5 46mm version comes with 14 days max battery life and the 41mm version has 7 days max battery life.

These watches are compatible with both iOS and Android devices.

Prices

Huawei Watch GT 5 starts at 249 euros and the Pro version at 448 euros. However, both of these have different bezel material and strap options with separate pricing.
