Huawei P60 series is receiving July 2024 security improvements update

Huawei P60 series has started receiving the July 2024 update with new security improvements. The company aims to improve the internal system security of the flagship models. The firmware will also offer a stable and lag-free performance.

July 2024 update brings a new security patch. This addition to the device will reduce abnormal functioning. It will further target the hidden problems in the phone’s system and strengthen its capacity against bugs or harmful privacy exploits.

Apart from bug fixes, the update increases the usability of the handset for daily operations. Thus, users will receive a stable device system after the installation. July 2024 firmware has hit the P60 Art in China and will soon reach other models.

Huawei P60 series users can identify the July 2024 update with the build version HarmonyOS 4.2.0.132. It also has a medium-sized software package of 474MB.

P60 series comes with a powerful camera setup and amazing features to deliver a significant photography experience. Being a flagship lineup, the users now expect to experience the latest AI Image Expand feature on their P60 smartphones.

Last week, when a user asked the company whether it would roll out the same feature for other premium devices, the Huawei Device Customer Service responded:

“Currently, this feature only supports Pura 70 series phones. We haven’t verified if other models can support it as well. Please pay attention to the subsequent official news.”

Huawei might bring the new AI image tool for the P60 handsets with the upcoming software versions. Although an exact timeline is missing from the frame.
