EMUI
Huawei EMUI devices for August 2024 security updates [List]
It’s August 2024 and Huawei has listed the EMUI devices that are eligible to grab the latest security updates. It’s time to explore which phones and tablets will continue the journey of constant regular rollouts and which will join the quarterly update section.
Huawei has fixed 10 system vulnerabilities and various third-party library issues with August 2024 security patch. These CVEs might exploit the overall user experience by ruining the lock screen, targeting the security module, or affecting the device’s data.
Looking into the device list, the company has moved the Mate Xs 2 and the Nova 10 SE from the monthly to quarterly updates section. These two models will get security improvements but once in three months, just like the Mate 40 Pro handset.
The good news is that Huawei has added the MatePad 11.5-inch S to the list. From now onwards, the newly launched tablets will receive monthly security patches and improvement updates to provide a reliable experience to users.
Other devices appear the same as the previous security update listing. You can still check the compatible Huawei devices for August 2024 EMUI security updates below.
