Huawei Watch GT 5 Pro (VLI-B29) visits SDPPI Indonesian database
Huawei Watch GT 5 series will have two models – Standard and Pro, confirms the latest SDPPI listing. After the VLI-B19 model, another wearable with VLI-B29 has now visited the Indonesian database with the moniker ‘Watch GT 5 Pro’.
The Chinese tech giant has already listed both these models on the 3C certification. At that time, both models seemed to be different size options, just like the Watch GT 4 series with 41mm and 46mm versions. But things are finally clear.
Now the Huawei Watch GT 5 Pro with VLI-B29 model number has appeared on the SDPPI Indonesian database. The latest information confirms that the next GT lineup will contain both standard and Pro variants, unlike the Watch GT 4 wearables.
Aside from the SDPPI, the device also showed up on the TUV certificate site. The listing reveals that it will support an IP68 rating. This feature ensures that the watch can remain protected from dust and bear 1.5 meters depth water for 30 minutes.
The new listing shows that the Watch GT 5 Pro is coming soon to the Chinese and global markets. Huawei may soon begin teasing its GT wearables on social media.
Earlier, Huawei refused the idea of launching a Pro variant for the Watch GT 4 series. With this, users were expecting the same elimination for the upcoming GT lineup as well. But it seems the predecessor is the only exception in this case.

The super dynamic smartwatch comes with a 1.43-inch AMOLED panel that supports easy slides and touch gestures. It is covered with glossy titanium + sapphire glass and brings three strap variants: Titanium, Grey Leather, and Black Fluoroelastomer.
The device supports features like ECG measurement, Bluetooth calls, a long-lasting battery, customized watch faces, automatic reminders, airtight safety, and more.
