WhatsApp introduces AI Studio feature to talk with different chatbots
WhatsApp introduces an interesting feature called “AI Studio”. By the term, the new addition will enable users to talk with a variety of chatbots. The feature is currently in the development phase and is only available to some Android beta testers.
Spotted in the Android testing version 2.24.15.10, WhatsApp is rolling out the AI Studio feature. Interested users can sign up for the Google Play Beta Program to explore the latest features and improvements ahead of the official rollout.
The company has already introduced the Meta AI – a personal in-built assistant in WhatsApp. It’s a smart feature that can perform several tasks within the app.
Now WhatsApp is bringing an AI Studio feature that will enable users to choose multiple bots as per their work requirements. The Select Contacts section (tap on the (+) icon to access) now shows a new tab “Chat with AIs” in the application.
Users can explore multiple AI robots developed by Meta and others. In case you are concerned about privacy, then don’t worry. These AI bots will not hamper or share your personal messages within a group or at an individual chat with other servers.
Although Meta could use your manually sent AI messages to improve the smart features for users. One can interact with a specific chatbot on sports or take assistance on related work such as frequently asking queries or looking for other interesting subjects and so on.
These AIs can also recommend new topics based on your searches or preferences. WhatsApp seems to be expanding its AI platform by inviting other external creators to develop their bots as well as add them to the chat application. The feature may soon be available to the general public via a stable release.
