WhatsApp will soon let you pin two channels on Android
WhatsApp is releasing a new Android beta update that enables users to pin two channels at a time. The useful feature is currently in the testing phase. Although the company won’t take much time to release it for general consumers.
Found in the Android beta 2.24.13.3 version, WhatsApp is testing the ‘pin up to two channels’ capability. The aim is to make the channel section more interactive and easy to use for the application users. Let’s learn about this feature in detail.
As the name reflects, users can pin two of their favorite channels at the top in the updates section (under the Channels category). All you have to do is, select the channel that you want to pin. You will further see a prompt saying:
“You can only pin up to 2 channels”

Note that once you pin a channel, it will remain at the top of the channels list until you change the settings. This feature is quite useful as you get easy access to your beloved channels without scrolling throughout the list and wasting time.
WhatsApp is currently rolling out this feature to a limited number of beta testers on Android devices via the Google Play Beta Program. Although other users will receive the latest capability through a stable release in the time ahead.
