Huawei could bring NearLink technology to audio wearables by 2025

A new input states that Huawei could adopt NearLink technology for its audio products and wearables by 2025. The adaptation progress of the useful connectivity feature is currently at a snail’s speed but it may start accelerating by next year.

Tipster @FixedFocus hints that Huawei is working on NearLink-based audio wearables/products and might launch them in 2025. The development seems sluggish for the moment but the company could soon catch speed in this matter.

Note that FreeBuds Pro 3 is the first audio wearable to support NearLink technology. But thereafter the company did not unveil any other audio product with this service. The tipster says that the delay might be due to an upgrade in this technology and the company may introduce it for speaker devices as well.

Perhaps the upcoming earphones or audio systems might fetch a better version of NearLink to provide a more stable connection and efficient performance to users.

Huawei has not confirmed this news so far. However the way it is using the NearLink technology in every of its new devices, we could expect to see the respective feature in audio products as well. Although the release time is currently a question.

NearLink:

The Chinese phone maker launched NearLink in September last year to bring a new evolution in network transmission. It’s a short-range wireless technology that is far ahead of ordinary Bluetooth connections and offers a seamless link between devices.

Speaking of performance, it can achieve 6 times more speed and 10 times higher number of network connections in real-time. It can easily connect with smartphones, PCs, tablets, cars, and other products, with lower latency and power consumption.

Users running the above-mentioned Huawei models would have experienced wider coverage and safer connections without any lagging between devices.

Mate 70 series is also in the queue to adopt the NearLink technology. But things are currently swirling in rumors and we have to wait for some official statements on this matter.
