Huawei Nova 11 Pro starts receiving EMUI 14.2 software update
Huawei Nova 11 Pro is another device to join the new EMUI 14.2 update wagon and enjoy some interesting features. The company already served the latest software to top-end models like P60 Pro, Mate 50 Pro, and Mate X3 foldable handset.
EMUI 14.2 is initially reaching all the devices listed in the EMUI 14 beta rollout. While Huawei has begun the new software testing program for only 13 flagship models, we expect to see more compatible phones in this listing in the time ahead.
Nova 11 Pro is receiving the Huawei EMUI 14.2 software update with the 14.2.0.140 version. It is currently approaching beta testers with a package size of 1.02GB.
With the latest firmware, the company has made certain improvements to the display segment of the device. It has refined the appearance of some apps’ interfaces so you can experience better visual effects without any glitches or other interruptions.
Another addition is the May 2024 security patch to safeguard your data from malicious threats. It also fills the voids that often act as a gateway for privacy exploits. You may also internal changes and optimizations after the update installation.
- Integrates the May 2024 security patch for enhanced system security.
- Optimized the display effects and interface of certain apps.
This update is live for Nova 11 Pro while the standard as well as the Nova 11i will soon be able to participate in this software pool. Being a huge-size firmware, it is better to use a stable Wi-Fi connection and 40% battery backup before updating.
EMUI 14.2 for Nova 11 Pro non-beta users
The company will initiate the same rollout for general consumers in the coming days. By that time, ensure to have sufficient storage space as the update weighs a bit more (6.45GB) for those who are upgrading from the EMUI 13 or 13.1 firmware.
