Huawei’s global sales revenue exceeded $9 billion in 2023: Huawei Executive

Today, Huawei hosted the 2024 Partner Conference where executives elaborated on the achievements the company made last year. One of the most successful points is that the global sales revenue of Huawei outstrip 9 billion USD in 2023.

Huawei is conducting the 2024 Partner Conference in Shenzhen from March 14 to 15 themed on ‘Born from gathering, digital intelligence is promising’. During the event, the Managing Director of Huawei – Wang Tao put forth his words on the stage.

To begin with, Wang Tao said that the company went through extremely hard work over the years to face both internal and external challenges. But now, the operations are turning back to normal and will become more stable in the time ahead.

Huawei MD further cited that in 2023, the global sales revenue of the company exceeded $9 billion (700 billion yuan) with a growth rate of 9%. This has ultimately resulted in the rapid development of Huawei’s enterprise business by 25%.

On the other hand, Huawei continued to strongly invest in the R&D field for its numerous products and solutions. It accounts for over 20% of the company’s revenue. Thus, Huawei’s total R&D investment in 2023 count among the top five in the world.

During the first three quarters of 2023, Huawei obtained 452.26 billion yuan in revenue, which was an increase of 11 billion yuan YoY. Besides, the company will continue increasing its R&D investment for a stable business infrastructure.

Huawei’s Rotating Chairman – Hu Houkan says that in 2024, the firm will look after the digital energy and cloud business, as well as streamline its budget management to procure better-than-before growth and retain its position in the global market in this aspect.
