Huawei FreeLace Pro 2 could launch alongside Pocket 2 foldable

Huawei is ready to unveil the Pocket 2 foldable on February 22 and at the same time, the company might launch a bunch of amazing products including the FreeLace Pro 2. The tech giant is likely to add a new member to its neckband category.

The Chinese manufacturer has released the FreeLace Pro in November 2020. Thereafter, the company put a halt on the neckband products in the FreeLace series. Finally, Huawei seems ready to launch the FreeLace Pro 2 at the upcoming event.

Weibo blogger @UncleKanshan cites that Huawei FreeLace Pro 2 is coming and will show up at the Pocket 2 foldable release conference. This is great news for fans who have been waiting for a long while to obtain a new FreeLace product.

It is unclear what new capabilities the approaching neckband will bring to the surface. Although consumers may find prominent changes and features over the previous-generation FreeLace earsets. Let’s hold our patience till the 22nd of February.

Huawei FreeLace Pro:

The previous-gen device appears in four colors – Graphite Black, Dawn White, Spruce Green, and Sakura Pink. It further supports dual-mic Active Noise Cancellation and Triple-mic Noise Cancellation for phone calls.

Ahead, the FreeLace Pro equips three primary sensors – a microphone, a Hall sensor, and a capacitance sensor. It has a 14mm dynamic driver, which works with an independent low-frequency sound tube to obtain resonance effective and deeper base.

In terms of durability, the device packs a 150mAh battery which offers 24 hours of playback on 1 charge. Meanwhile, it takes about 60 minutes to re-energize the headset. Other features include Bluetooth 5.0 and IP55 rating. It would be worth seeing how the FreeLace Pro 2 differs from its predecessors.
