Huawei secures fourth rank in 2023 Global Tablet Market with 32% annual growth rate

Huawei entered the top five rankings in the 2023 Global Tablet Market report and secured the fourth position in annual tablet shipments. The company made this achievement when the tablet shipments market dropped by 10% year-on-year.

The Chinese tech giant is achieving victory in both the smartphone and tablet fields. Huawei has bagged the top spot in the Chinese smartphone sales market within the first two weeks of 2024 and is now scoring well in large-screen shipments.

According to the information, the global tablet market sold around 135.3 million units in 2023 and faced a decline of 10% in overall sales. Yet, the top tech vendors managed to score good grades in this segment.

One is Apple, which stood in the first position due to iPad’s strong influence and gained 40% of the market share. Although, it’s a negative result compared to the last year and the American tech giant has faced an 11% year-on-year decrease.

Samsung ranked second with 19.3% of the global tablet market share but a decline of 11.5%. The third position is led by Lenovo whereas, Amazon ranks fifth in this department. While all these tech makers have seen a decline, Huawei is the only one to see positive growth in the 2023 global tablet market.

Huawei’s Growth in the Tablet Market

The information reveals that Huawei accounts for 32.1% of the growth rate in the global tablet shipment market, surpassing Amazon. The tech giant shipped around 8.3 million units in 2023 with a market share of 6.1 percent.

Meanwhile, Huawei grabbed the third rank in Q4 2023 with an annual growth rate of 95.4% and pushed back Lenovo to the fourth grade. In this particular quarter, the company shipped 2.8 million units of tablets and made new achievements.

Canalys researchers quoted that Chinese and Indian tech vendors mainly rule the tablet world. They are the major contributors in the tablet sales growth. Perhaps, global tablet sales might rebound this year with amazing outcomes.

Huawei continues to provide innovative tablet products in the market. The last one is the MatePad Pro 13.2 which is getting immense attention in the market. At the same time, the company is planning to make this segment more interesting in the time ahead.
