Huawei Cloud gains Class C License to enhance cloud operations in Saudi Arabia
Huawei Cloud has recently received a Class C License in Saudi Arabia which will ultimately enhance relevant operations in the region. It further enables the company to invest in cloud infrastructure for the welfare of the public and private sectors.
As per the details, Huawei Cloud gained the approval of the Class C License from the Communications, Space, and Technology (CST) Commission. It also includes the evaluation process from the National Cybersecurity Authority.
On the flip side, it requires a commitment to the Cloud Cybersecurity Controls (CCC) for governmental affairs. Besides, one needs to work according to the prevailing regulations, policies, as well as governance lawsuits.
Speaking of the facilities, the new Licence enables Huawei to manage regional data classifications. The category involves public data, restricted data, secret data, and confidential inputs. Eventually, Huawei Cloud will be able to offer its services on a wider scale in the country.
