Huawei Nova 12 Ultra gets a 100W charging certificate, moving toward launch
China’s 3C now published a new certificate for a Huawei phone with model number ADA-AL00U and it’s allegedly identified as the upcoming Huawei Nova 12 Ultra smartphone with 100W super fast charging.
The certificate reveals that ADA-Al00U supports charging adapter – 200500C00 and HW-200500C01. These chargers support 100W (20VDC, 5A), 10W (5VDC, 2A), 40W (10VDC, 4A) and 100W (20VDC, 5A). The applicant and manufacturer is Huawei and it’s being produced by Guilin Kaifa Technology.
100W Charging:
Huawei has been using this super fast charger since the Huawei Nova 9 Pro and expanded to Nova 10 Pro and Nova 11 Pro/Ultra devices.
With that much charging rate, the phone could fully recharge in just 20 minutes when the screen is off and refill 50% of the battery in just 15 minutes. So, the 100W charging support on the Huawei Nova 12 Ultra will continue the fast refueling experience.
5G:
Although the certificate has no mention of the 5G connectivity and the model number has also indicated that it’s a “4G” product, there are some new facts about this new characterization of the 5G connectivity in Huawei devices.
Tipster from Weibo suggests that the Huawei Nova 12 Ultra will be a 5G smartphone despite the model number. The recent launch of the Huawei Mate 60 series is also an example of how Huawei is keeping the certification process low-key. These two phones come with 5G super fast internet access in reality.
Kirin 9000s:
The 5G part of the phone would be managed by the new Kirin 9000s chipset with adjusted CPU frequency. The latest Huawei MatePad Pro 11 2024 also equips this new processor under the hood.
Similar to the Huawei Mate 60 series and MatePad Pro 13.2, the MatePad Pro 11 2024 also doesn’t label the processor information.
Rendering:
A few of the rendering of the phone appeared online and shows that the company has made subsequential upgrades to the aesthetics.
Launch Date:
According to the past information, Huawei Nova 12 series could unveil in December if not scheduled for early next year.
