Huawei Nova 12 series battery capacities leaked, using 5300mAh battery in the top variant
A leak has revealed battery capacities and details for the upcoming Huawei Nova 12 series models.
Tipster DigitalChatStation shared information a new Huawei smartphone will use high-density battery materials. Similar to its name, these types of batteries can store more energy in a smaller or lighter package, which is used in devices focusing on low-weight or internal space.
It indicates that the high-density battery could be used in the Nova 12 series or any other smartphone. Speaking of which, the tipster shared three capacities including 5000mAh, 5100mAh, and 5300mAh.
These battery capacities are expected to refer to Huawei Nova 12, Nova 12 Pro, and Nova 12 Ultra respectively. Meanwhile, the predecessors featured 4500mAh battery capacities on all three Nova 11, Nova 11 Pro, and Nova 11 Ultra models.
DCS further elaborated that Huawei will bring a 5G Kirin chipset to these devices. This new input comes amid several reports hinting that Huawei will offer a controversial new Kirin chipset to this mid-range segment.
Meanwhile, some reports suggest that this could be an entirely new Huawei chipset as compared to the Kirin 9000s used in the Huawei Mate 60 series.
Looking at the details, the Huawei Nova 12 standard version hosts a slightly curved screen with second-generation Kunlun glass. It sports a 50MP camera system and a high-quality front 60MP selfie cam.
Huawei Nova 12 Pro and Nova 12 Pro will boast new features and specifications to the entire series. These would equip two front-facing cameras and a 120hz high refresh rate display.
Huawei may also bring two-way satellite SMS technology and variable aperture to host on this device. Compared to the past year, Huawei could surprise users with these devices on stage with a 5G connection.
For now, there are no official dates announced for the Huawei Nova 12 series launch event but it could happen very soon.
