EMUI 9.1 is now available for 8 Huawei and Honor smartphones

Huawei is continuously sending the stable EMUI 9.1 update for its smartphones. According to the latest announcement, from August 20, there are 8 models which will receive EMUI 9.1 update with Super File System and GPU Turbo 3.0.

We believe, this announcement for global users, as above mentioned smartphones have already received the EMUI 9.1 update in few countries, including China. The EMUI 9.1 update may take up to one month to reach your device.

EMUI 10: Latest news, release date, features, and eligible devices

If you want to check for the update manually you can do this by following the instruction below:

Go to Settings > System > Software update > Check for Updates. If an update is available, it’ll ask if you want to download it.

If the update does not appear in the settings, we recommend you to request it via HiCare App: Go to HiCare app > tap on Update > click on the Checkbox and hit Apply.
