These Huawei smartwatches will receive HarmonyOS 4 in 2024
Huawei has announced a new HarmonyOS 4 rollout schedule for the first quarter of 2024 because there are various smartwatches that are pending to claim their share of this major software release next year.
In early August, Huawei released the HarmonyOS 4 operating system, and it brings various new capabilities. Initially, the company announced beta activity for the Huawei Watch 4 series and completed the stable rollout as of November 1st to all of these smart wearable users.
Meanwhile, the Huawei Watch GT 4 became the first Huawei smartwatch to pre-equip this new HarmonyOS. Therefore, customers of this wearable get all of the features out of the box. On the other hand, the latest super premium – Watch Ultimate Design doesn’t only bring HarmonyOS 3 but it’s also a part of this rollout roadmap.
Huawei Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro are also eligible for HarmonyOS 4 upgrade as the company only released these two in the past two years. Alongside, Huawei will also cover special edition and limited edition smartwatches under this installation plan.
