Actor Nicholas Tse to sponsor Huawei Mate X5 in a short film

On October 16, 2023, Huawei officially shared the promotion poster of the Huawei Mate X5 smartphone featuring Actor and Martial Artist Nicholas Tse.

Huawei wrote on the promo “A high-energy showdown is about to break out. Huawei Mate X5 “Front Mission” See you tomorrow!”

In the poster, Nicholas Tse appeared to be holding the Huawei Mate X5, Huawei’s latest foldable device. The image has the caption “hardcore enough, trendy enough, and witty enough.”

It’s revealed that there’s a short film named “Mission” that will be released online on Weibo tomorrow October 17 starring the actor. Last month, Huawei launched the Mate 60 RS Ultimate Design flagship phone featuring well-known actor Andy Lau. It reflects, how Huawei wants to represent its devices with all the latest drama and persona.

Huawei Mate X5 is a new foldable phone launched alongside Huawei Mate 60 Pro+ last month. Despite its identical appearance to the Huawei Mate X3, the phone is making buzz for its new 5G connectivity. Early units of the phone already sold out and the company is working on producing more Huawei Mate X5.
