TechInsights Vice Chairman says Huawei Mate 60 series quality is amazing

TechInsights has recently become a center of discussion for global media regarding the Huawei Mate 60 series and the new secret Huawei chip breakthrough. TechInsights Vice Chairman has also commented on the Huawei Mate 60 series and marked it “amazing”.

TechInsights Vice Chairman, Dan Hutcheson gave an interview to China’s CCTV, saying that the technologies and quality of the Huawei Mate 60 series are on an amazing level. “It’s definitely world-class” he said.

Mr. Hutcheson also emphasized that the Huawei Mate 60 chip is very advanced. However, there’s more room for improvement on this matter. He mentioned that the chip gap is 2-2.5 nodes behind the current advance nodes.

A professor at the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications said that 2 to 2.5 nodes mean that the current chip processing technology is still 3 to 5 years behind 5G chips with advanced processes. He believes that this lag in the processing tech could be reduced to the slightest with continued research and development.

On August 29th, Huawei released the new Mate 60 Pro smartphone. It comes with a new design in the front featuring three holes. These house a new selfie camera and 3D facial recognition system.

The phone also equips satellite calling capability, which is not present in any other smartphone in the world. On the flip side, it also has a stylish design and powerful camera capability.

More importantly, its chipset is catching headlines from everywhere, which the company is not promoting in teh official listing of the Huawei Mate 60 series.
