TIMELINE:

On March 16, 2023:

• Huawei officially began the first phase of EMUI 13 beta in South East Asia including Malaysia and Singapore.

April 4, 2023:

• Following the registration, Huawei began the rollout of EMUI 13 beta for the approved application for limited testers. The first EMUI 13 beta has software version 13.0.0.212 and a package size of 6.22GB.

April 7, 2023:

• EMUI 13 beta opened for new Nova series smartphones including the Nova 10 and Nova 10 Pro devices. The company shot with 200 slots for each model. However, it remained enclosed in Malaysia.

June 19, 2023:

• Huawei Mate 40 Pro joined the EMUI 13 activity but was in the Asia market at this time.

Expansion:

June 23, 2023:

• Huawei officially announced EMUI 13 beta for Huawei P50 Pocket, P50 Pro, Mate Xs 2, Mate 40 Pro, Nova 10, and Nova 10 SE in South Africa and Middle East Region.
• Huawei P50 Pro, Mate 40 Pro, Nova 10, and Nova 10 SE were announced for EMUI 13 in Russia. However, the actual beta registration started on June 20, 2023.

June 30, 2023:

• EMUI 13 beta started for testers in Europe, this activity has all of the devices mentioned above, and here are all of the details.
• First EMUI 13 beta was released via the OTA update method for approved testers.

July 8, 2023:

• Huawei opened EMUI 13 beta campaign in Romania

July 18, 2023:

• Huawei P50 Pro and other registered devices getting EMUI version 13.0.0.231. Users will have to download a package size of 5.98GB.

July 22, 2023:

• Huawei Mate 40 Pro users are getting first EMUI 13 beta with EMUI version 13.0.0.240 with gradual rollout.
