50 Irish students will get Huawei scholarship worth €5,000 in Ireland

Huawei initiates a scholarship program for Irish students under its seeds for the Future 2021 activity. A total of 50 Irish students would be provided with a chance to avail themselves of scholar benefits and be a part of Huawei activities.

Luke McDonnell who is a senior communications manager at Huawei Ireland, sees this campaign for cultivating and rewarding future talents. He commented, the company is determined of empowering ICT technologies in Ireland, furthermore, it’s also encouraging the students to polish their skills and knowledge.

According to the news, Ireland is the first country in western Europe to receive this scholarship initiative. The company is hosting this program since 2015 in different countries, now it selects Ireland.

Moving ahead, the company has provided a pleasant capital of 250,000 in academic privileges. Selected top 50 students will be granted €5,000 each in this criteria. Participants have to complete an online course in a week that will start on 18th October and concluded on 26th October.

  2. Opportunity to explore smart cities, AI, cloud computing, 5G and, IoT
  3. Guidance from Huawei senior engineers or guest speakers
  4. Huawei flagship store in Shenzhen visit
  5. Insights on modern Chinese business culture
  6. Coaching to learn Mandarin and calligraphy

Besides, the offered course will be based on STEM science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. It’ll help them to develop their understanding of the ICT industry and know about Chinese culture.

Additionally, participants will also get a chance to be a part of Huawei’s Tech4Good project in team activities. It’ll let them know about the technical solutions for social and environmental problems. Moreover, it’ll the last chance to present their view encapsulated in a project to get the eligibility for the school.
