Huawei is working on a comprehensive development of the new HarmonyOS ecosystem and the results will be visible this year. As per the Chief Operating Officer of Huawei Smartphone Business Group – He Gang, 2024 will be a vital year for the evolution of the HarmonyOS ecosystem.

He Gang shared a short description of the company’s plans for this year. The executive said that 2023 has been an extraordinary year for Huawei as well as a kick-start of the HarmonyOS native app development.

Meanwhile, 2024 will be a crucial year for the overall evolution of the Huawei HarmonyOS ecosystem. The company is keenly focusing on simple, easy-to-navigate, and creative features that can boost the experience of consumers with their devices.

With the upcoming versions of HarmonyOS, users will experience smarter and more efficient functions with security at the peak level. On the other hand, HarmonyOS will become independent and safer for both phone holders and developers.

Apart from the narration, He Gang shared a poll with a handful of features and asked users to pick their favorite capability in the HarmonyOS 4 software system. Looking at the votes in the comment sections, the SuperHub File Transfer feature is at the top.

It is worth noting that the company will not only focus on better HarmonyOS versions for smartphones but will also build a dedicated version for PCs. Hence, it will give a new shape to Huawei’s growth in the software sector.
