Huawei has now released the stable HarmonyOS 4.2 update for 15 more devices alongside the Mate 40 Pro phone and a few Nova lineups. It is a significant move from the company’s side for its old flagship phone users. Let’s check the details.

In recent times, the Chinese phone maker has served the 4.2 software build to many devices including smartphones, tablets, earbuds, smart TVs, and more.

The company aims to optimize its devices with prominent features as well as improvements ahead of the HarmonyOS NEXT release. Although it is unclear how many models will receive the next major software upgrade and its capabilities.

It is worth mentioning that an early input reported HarmonyOS NEXT apps testing on Mate 40 Pro. Thus we can expect that the old flagship is capable of surfing new software and could receive the next super update in the future.
